Why it is risky
Plain cooked prawns are a low-fat protein. The shells, heads and tails are a choking and blockage risk, raw prawns can carry bacteria, and prawns in garlic butter or batter aren't suitable. Some dogs are allergic to shellfish.
Safe portion
One or two cooked, peeled prawns for a small dog, a few for a large dog, occasionally.
