Life stage adjustments
- Puppies: use Harringtons Puppy, not adult. Feed 3–4 meals a day up to 6 months, then 2.
- Seniors: around age 7+ for large breeds, 10+ for small, cut portions by 10–15% to account for slower metabolism.
- Neutered adults: energy needs drop by roughly 10–20% after neutering. Adjust portions before weight creeps up.
Transitioning to Harringtons
Change over 7 days: 25% new food for 2 days, 50% for 2 days, 75% for 2 days, then 100%. Slower for sensitive dogs.
